Experience in using causometry in the educational process with future teachers

Abstract

The educational process is not only educational, but also personally formative for bachelor students. In our opinion, the second aspect is not given enough attention. Psychodiag nostics is a psychological tool and a condition for strengthening the personal component in professional training, especially for educational psychologists. Objective: to study the prospects of using causometry methods in enriching the educational process for the development of psychological and pedagogical competencies. The goal is to offer a description of the meaning and prospects for using the unique personality-constructive method of causometry in the educational process in psychological disciplines. The integrated use of such causometry techniques will enrich psychological and pedagogical competencies. Methods: determination of psychological age, assessment of five-year intervals, formation and assessment of life events, construction of a causomatrix and causogram, biographical
interview. Results: in this article we share our experience in obtaining data through causometry. Our sample demonstrated an average level of age adequacy; the majority showed normative age characteristics. Each technique separately provided semantic indicators and a basis for reflection. Students got the opportunity to understand perspectives in the main areas of life. Compare your present with the possibilities in the future and adjust your lifestyle. Conclusions: the author revealed the essence of the process and the results of biographical diagnostics in the context of the use of causometry in the educational process. Moreover, the inclusion of causometry in the pedagogical process has not been previously covered in publications.
